PURPOSE
This article describes how to change the delivery scheme for a customer.
INSTRUCTIONS
CHANGE DELIVERY FREQUENCY SCHEME
PROCESS:
From the proper BU, go to Customer MaintenanceClick CustomersEnter Customer# then hit tab or enterClick on DeliveryClick on ModifyClick Add button to add a new delivery schemeChoose the correct scheme from the Delivery Scheme drop downIf the scheme is not available, change the number of the week and recheckClick the check box that corresponds to the correct service day, which will be the day the account is currently serviced on. Then click the double arrows to the right of the field’s box.Choose the correct RT and click the single yellow arrow to assign the routeClick Save & Exit (assign routes to customer window)Click Save & Exit (delivery scheme per customer window)The Add Customer to Future Routes box will now appear. Click OK.Both the current and delivery schemes will appear on the account. If the account is going to use only one scheme, delete the old.Switch all products over to the new delivery scheme (directions to follow)
CHANGE A CUSTOMER’S PRODUCTS DELIVERY SCHEME
PROCESS:
Click Customer Maintenance > Product List Per CustomerEnter the Customer# and hit tab or enterEnsure the Active and Show Prices filters are turned onClick on the product to highlight itClick on Change Finishing MethodFrom this window, select the new delivery scheme in the drop downFrom the Reason Code drop down, select the –Click OKClick Close when completeRepeat steps for each active product on the accountDouble-click on the product to make changesDelayed Even Exchange needs to be selected.Verify the Return methodIf product is EOW or Monthly = return -> According to Delivery Scheme BelowIf product is weekly = return -> Next week same route
Scheme needs to match the new delivery scheme. If product is now weekly, this box does not need to be filled.When EOW or Monthly product, select Calculate Every and choose Delivery Scheme Based (this product). If new scheme is weekly, select Every Weekly (accumulated). This will not need to be done for flat-rated rental products.Click on Define/View Delivery QuantitiesDouble-click the active schemeFrom the Delivery Scheme drop down, choose the new delivery schemeClick Save & Exit on all open windowsCheck that the price is being adjusted to the new delivery scheme
